- Laotian and Hmong refugees are preparing to face a possible increase in deportations, in part because the U.S. government is funding a reintegration program to help Laos accept nationals with final orders of removal. – As a resident of Minnesota, it saddens me that this may be happening to neighbors and their families.

Soundtrack: The Jim Carroll Band “People Who Died” – This showed up on a playlist I was listening to this weekend and it reminded me how much I loved this song when I was in High School, but could never find out who it was because it was the early days of the internet.
